Just got Half life 2, and played it with one of my friends, the "intro"(when you can do nothing, but move) is a bit long, but after it imo the game is cool

Let's see, I've been playing World of Warcraft and SA2:B.

As for the Matrix Online Beta, i gave up. The game itself had potential, and you probably could have a lot of fun with it. There's alot of ways to build up your character to amazing powers (i assume) and combat is interesting, if a bit dull at times.

Problems:
-Where are the enemies? I predict you'd have to do some lvl grinding here.
-You're in a city. An american styled one at that. That's not gonna lead to many unique environments.
-Quests. These consist of:
Step one: Go here.
Step two: Talk to some one.
Step three: Get out.
-There are doors. You have to double click to open doors to get into buildings. Double click to get out. Double click to talk. Double click to mastabate (men only). Double click to rape (women only). Etc.
-Incompatible Client version. This was the case in the beta. If it's in the full version, kill someone. Basicly, they update very often, but the launcher does not see these updates, thus you often have to reinstall the launcher to get it to work. Speaking to the support people didn't help either. They suggested i defrag my computer.

Wait for reviews. This game could be fun. It's very social you see. You can go to raves, and you have endless emotes. But lets wait and see if the update bug is sorted.

In other news, i got Astro Boy for the GBA. And i'm looking into getting the PS2 version, which was developed by Sonic Team.

Yes, you have to pay for all MMORPGs, with Guild Wars being an exception. Unless you try out a private server, but i can't tell you anymore, as that is paddling in rules that are not to be broken.

But this sucks, why do you must pay for a beta?? It's full with bugs, and sometimes annoying, isn't it? It's unfair

You get to see the game before everybody else.

And companies charge it because they can. If you don't, others will happily pay.
